Increasing cancer cases in Kurdistan


Arbil/ Iraq TradeLink: The number of cancer cases in the Kurdish region was increased by 13%,
according to Kurdish health ministry.

The sources said that Arbil province had the biggest figure of the registered cases which reached to 2852 cases, while the figures registered in Sulaimaniya province reached to 2391 cases.

Duhuk province was the third in the registration, which reached to 1152 cases, the ministry added.

According to 2018 statistics in comparison of that of 2017, the increase in the cases reached to 13% which reached to about 5600 cases.

There are 100 types of cancer, most of them are mortal.
