Iraqi Premier in Saudi Arabia today

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Premier Adel Abdul Mehdi will visit today Saudi Arabia.

He pointed that this visit is important, where many agreements will be signed.

Mehdi added that his visit today will be similar to those made to Egypt and Iran to expose Iraqi way of dealings with his neighbors and the Arab and Islamic world.

He disclosed that ArAr border crossing will be used in the short run.

Saudi sources reported that the Iraqi delegation is comprising of 11 ministers, 68 senior officials and 70 businessmen from the private sector.

The visit will last for two days.

The sources pointed that the visit will discuss important issues on bilateral relations and means to develop them in the light of regional and international situations.

 It is expected that this visit will result in signing a number of agreements and memoranda in economic, educational and technical fields.

Saudi sources believe that the start in ArAr border crossing between the two sides will be announced, pointing that next October will be the official opening of the crossing.
